The 2,659 mi (4,279 km) Pacific Crest Trail spans the length of west cost of the US and is vastly different from the wooded Appalachian Trail. The biggest contrast I found was in the views. Oh the views... I headed northward from the southern terminus located at the border of Mexico near Campo, CA on April 18th, 2015. Dates and time are not important out there. This journey gave birth to new friendships, skills, and a photographic story to remember it all by.
